Verification Information (Instructors)

For instructors registering on the Platform, we may collect verification documents and details such as:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Valid Driving License
  • Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
  • Vehicle Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate
  • Valid Vehicle Insurance
  • Other vehicle details used for training
  • Recent images of the training vehicle
  • Bank account details for instructor payouts

These documents are used for identity verification, instructor onboarding, and compliance purposes.

Transaction Information

Package purchases, session logs, payments, and refunds.

Location Data

The Platform may request access to your device location to help select pickup points and assist with session coordination between learners and instructors.

Location data is used only when required within the app for these purposes. Pilot does not perform background location tracking or continuous live location monitoring of users.

Device Information

Device type, operating system, IP address, and app usage data.

Payment Information

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay or other authorized payment partners.

Pilot does not store debit card, credit card, or UPI credentials.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Schedule and verify driving sessions (including OTP-based verification)
  • Assist with pickup point selection and coordination between learners and instructors
  • Coordinate RTO visits and provide license assistance services
  • Process payments and manage instructor payouts
  • Provide insurance coverage during active driving sessions
  • Improve platform performance, features, and safety
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with:

  • Assigned instructors or learners for session coordination
  • Razorpay and other payment partners for payment processing
  • Insurance partners for coverage and claims validation
  • Verification and KYC partners for identity and document verification
  • Government or regulatory authorities if required by law

All such third parties are required to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security standards when handling your information.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure cloud storage, role-based access control, and secure payment processing.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as required to fulfil legal, regulatory, and business obligations.

Both Learners and Instructors must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the services offered on the Platform.

Pilot does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will take appropriate steps to delete such information and disable the associated account.
